As a component of his honor, Ridley went to the Louisiana Section Spring Conference Awards Luncheon in Baton Rouge, where he took an interest in workshop sessions and got a plaque, a little nameplate for the Louisiana Tech ASCE Student Chapter Perpetual Plaque and a $500 honorarium.
